Madelyn Quinlan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. She holds a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from St. Bonaventure University. In addition to her formal clinical training, Madelyn is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist-II (CAMS-II) through the National Anger Management Association.
Madelyn has several years of counseling experience across educational and nonprofit settings, including family therapy during her graduate internship, school-based counseling at Person Early College for Innovation and Leadership, and student mental health support at Methodist University. Her diverse background informs a thoughtful and integrative approach to care.
Madelyn blends mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based strategies to support clients in making meaningful, lasting changes. She believes that mental health goes beyond symptom management—it’s about building a life that is balanced, fulfilling, and rooted in one’s core values. Her compassionate, whole-person approach recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and environment.
Madelyn is currently pursuing additional training in Gottman Method Level 1 for couples counseling and actively explores continuing education opportunities related to ACT and OCD. She is passionate about helping others reconnect with a purposeful and intentional path forward in life.
